Wall Street’s main indexes opened higher on Monday as easing oil prices supported sentiment despite ongoing attacks between Israel and Iran, while investors focused on the upcoming Federal Reserve meeting.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 102.3 points, or 0.24%, at the open to 42,300.13. The S&P 500 rose 27.0 points, or 0.45%, at the open to 6,004, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 143.9 points, or 0.74%, to 19,550.749 at the opening bell.
