The Nifty Realty index has emerged as one of the top-performing sectoral indices so far in the current fiscal year (FY26), recording a strong gain of around 22% in just over two months. In comparison, the benchmark Nifty50 index has posted a modest rise of about 6% during the same period. According to ETMarkets, the sharp rally in the Realty index has been driven by significant gains in several of its constituent stocks. Specifically, eight stocks within the Nifty Realty index have surged between 15% and 45% since the start of FY26, contributing substantially to the sector’s overall outperformance.
