NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Friday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Orbit Exports(12.89%), Adinath Text(11.31%), KIFS Financial(11.05%), Mukta Arts(10.76%), Hindprakash Ind(10.50%), Akzo Nobel(10.38%), Hubtown Ltd(10.32%) and RLF Ltd(10.00%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 38.75 points up at 83794.62, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 12.25 points to 25561.25.
In the Nifty 50 index, 30 stocks traded in the green, while 20 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as RLF Ltd, Mardia Samyoung, Lloyds Steels(PP), Greycells Edu and Shree Global hit their fresh 52-week high, while Sadhana Nitro, Suraj Products, Kansal Fibres, Nutricircle and Sybly Ind touched their new 52-week low in trade.
