Stocks Rallied: Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today’s trade


NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Mefcom Capital(20.00%), Kimia Biosciences(20.00%), Tranway Technologies(20.00%), Prime Focus(19.99%), Shikhar Consultants Ltd.(19.69%), Tierra Agrotech(16.86%), Nikhil Adhesive(16.46%) and Concord Drugs(15.34%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 303.03 points up at 84058.9, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 88.8 points up at 25637.8.

In the Nifty50 index, 27 stocks closed in the green, while 23 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Kimia Biosciences, Shikhar Consultants Ltd., NDR Auto Components, Lloyds Steels(PP)and Sangam(India)hit their fresh 52-week high, while Digitide Solutions Ltd., Alexander Stamps, MPIL Corp, Nutricircle and Mehta Integrated Finance touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
