NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Hybrid Financial Services(up 20.00%), Creative Eye(up 19.97%), Franklin Industries(up 19.63%), AI Champdany(up 17.86%), KPT Industries(up 17.24%), Dhunseri Tea(up 15.69%) and Mauria Udyog(up 15.03%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 124.01 points up at 81566.05, while the 50-share index, NSE was 39.6 points up at 24790.5.
In the Nifty50 index, 34 stocks traded in the green, while 16 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Franklin Industries, Indef Manufacturing, S S Organic, Kretto Syscon and Sika Interplant hit their fresh 52-week high, while Khadim India, Pradhin Ltd., MPIL Corp, Yarn Syndicate(PP)and Pulsar International touched their new 52-week low during the session.
