Stocks Rallied: Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE


NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Cinevista Ltd(up 20.00%), Meenakshi Enterprise(up 19.98%) and Karda Const(up 16.66%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 165.57 points down at 81630.58, while the 50-share index, NSE was 50.6 points down at 24895.9.

In the Nifty50 index, 20 stocks traded in the green, while 30 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Mayur Leather, Federal Mogul, Subros, Steel Strips and Akar Auto Ind. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Salguti Industries, Archana Software, Sadhana Nitro, Century 21st and Pulsar International touched their new 52-week low during the session.
