Stocks plunged news: Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday’s session


NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 677.55 points up at 81796.15 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Mayukh Dealtrade(down 15.31 per cent), CFSL Ltd.(down 10.03 per cent), Zodiac JRD MKJ(down 9.99 per cent), Sea TV Network(down 9.96 per cent) and Karma Energy(down 8.67 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.

In the Nifty pack, 46 stocks closed in the green, while 4 stocks ended in the red.

The index closed 227.91 points up at 24946.5.

On the BSE, Jeevan Scientific, Inter Globe Fin, Pankaj Piyush, Krishna Vent and Sadhana Nitro hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Subros, Bhaskar Agro, OneSource Specialty, Kwality Pharmaceutic and GRM Overseas touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
