NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 34.13 points up at 82479.34 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Captain Technocast(down 13.73 per cent), Krebs Biochem(down 9.74 per cent), Enbee Trade Fin(down 9.58 per cent), Sea TV Network(down 9.44 per cent) and Pradhin Ltd.(down 8.82 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks traded in the green, while 21 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 23.35 points up at 25126.55.
On the BSE, Pradhin Ltd., Archana Software, Suvidha Infra, Krishna Vent and Yarn Syndicate(PP)hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Ajcon Global, Reliable Ventures India, Creative Eye, Hybrid Financial Services and Vesuvius India touched their fresh 52-week highs.
