Stocks plunged news: Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE


NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 369.69 points up at 82558.68 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, National Fittings (down 14.41 per cent), Shiva Granito Export(down 12.52 per cent), Bothra Metals(down 9.97 per cent), Coral Newsprint(down 9.90 per cent) and Chartered Cap(down 9.76 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 34 stocks traded in the green, while 16 stocks traded in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 119.41 points up at 25122.45.

On the BSE, Archana Software, Nutricircle, Advance Syntex, Yarn Syndicate(PP)and A F Enterprises hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Ajcon Global, Hybrid Financial Services, Indef Manufacturing, OCCL Ltd. and Reliable Ventures India touched their fresh 52-week highs.
