NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 53.49 points down at 82391.72 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Athena Constructions(down 13.44 per cent), Retro Green Revolution(down 11.44 per cent), Stellar Capital Svcs(down 10.00 per cent), Yug Decor(down 9.92 per cent) and Krebs Biochem(down 9.81 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 27 stocks closed in the green, while 23 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 1.05 points up at 25104.25.
On the BSE, Pradhin Ltd., Nam Securities, Salguti Industries, Archana Software and Suvidha Infra hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Reliance Power, Indef Manufacturing, Sugal Damani, Ajcon Global and Creative Eye touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
