Stocks plunged news: Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday’s session


NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 823.16 points down at 81691.98 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Samyak Intnl(down 16.94 per cent), Cinevista Ltd(down 11.06 per cent), Neopolitan Pizza and(down 10.52 per cent), VCU Data Mgmt(down 9.97 per cent) and Mishka Exim(down 9.79 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.

In the Nifty pack, 7 stocks closed in the green, while 43 stocks ended in the red.

The index closed 253.21 points down at 24888.2.

On the BSE, Softsol India, Pulsar International, Salguti Industries, Archana Software and Mercury Trade Links hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Subros, Oriental Trimex, Indokem Ltd, National Fittings and Force Motors touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
