Stocks plunged news: Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE


NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 454.96 points down at 80996.05 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Somi Conveyor(down 13.58 per cent), Innovators Facade Systems(down 11.79 per cent), Samrat Pharma(down 11.64 per cent), Coral Labs(down 11.38 per cent) and Swarnsarita Gems(down 10.31 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 17 stocks traded in the green, while 33 stocks traded in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 132.91 points down at 24617.8.

On the BSE, Srestha Finvest, MT Educare, Nettlinx Ltd, A F Enterprises and Vijay Textiles hit their fresh 52-week lows, while IFB Agro, Lumax Auto Tech, Pennar Ind, Reliance Power and Aryaman Capital touched their fresh 52-week highs.
