RattanIndia Power Ltd.(up 8.95%), NTPC Green Energy Ltd.(up 6.01%), Energy Development Company Ltd.(up 4.20%), Power and Instrumentation(Gujarat)Ltd.(up 4.10%), Transformers & Rectifiers(India)Ltd.(up 3.98%), JSW Energy Ltd.(up 3.91%), SJVN Ltd.(up 3.87%), Indowind Energy Ltd.(up 3.16%), Inox Wind Ltd.(up 2.76%) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 2.33%) stood among the top gainers.

Karma Energy Ltd.(down 5.01%), Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.(down 2.69%), Voltamp Transformers Ltd.(down 1.68%), Adani Power Ltd.(down 1.17%), KKV Agro Powers Ltd.(down 0.16%) and Ravindra Energy Ltd.(down 0.13%) were among the top losers of the day.

The NSE Nifty50 index ended 319.16 points up at 25112.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 1046.3 points at 82408.17.
