Stock Market Sectors: Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Monday at 10:20AM

Madhya Bharat Agro Products Ltd.(up 7.44%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd.(up 4.91%), Krishana Phoschem Ltd.(up 4.67%), Paradeep Phosphates Ltd.(up 3.85%), Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd.(up 2.57%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(up 1.51%), Gujarat State Fertilizer & Chemicals Ltd.(up 0.79%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation Ltd.(up 0.72%), Rama Phosphates Ltd.(up 0.43%) and Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd.(up 0.36%) were among the top gainers.

Bohra Industries Ltd.(down 2.02%), Coromandel International Ltd.(down 1.20%), Aries Agro Ltd.(down 0.81%), Madras Fertilizers Ltd.(down 0.55%), Agro Phos India Ltd.(down 0.24%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd.(down 0.17%) and Sikko Industries Ltd.(down 0.02%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 186.36 points down at 24564.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 668.83 points at 80782.18 at around 10:20AM.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 2.16%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.37%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.91%), Coal India Ltd.(up 0.8%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 0.71%), Eternal Ltd.(up 0.42%), Nestle India Ltd.(up 0.41%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 0.38%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.34%) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 0.33%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.


On the other hand, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 2.38%), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 2.16%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 2.1%), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.07%), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.6%), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 1.55%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.55%), Titan Company Ltd.(down 1.51%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 1.36%) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.34%) were trading in the red.
