NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 14.90 crore), Tata Teleservices(number of shares traded: 8.79 crore), NTPC Green Energy Ltd.(number of shares traded: 6.08 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 3.37 crore), NALCO(number of shares traded: 3.08 crore), IndusInd Bank(number of shares traded: 2.63 crore), BEL(number of shares traded: 1.95 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 1.92 crore), Tata Steel(number of shares traded: 1.88 crore) and Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 1.79 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:53AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 209.25 points down at 24604.2, while BSE Sensex was down 680.89 points at 80915.74 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 0.73 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 0.57 per cent), Jio Financial Services Ltd.(up 0.57 per cent), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 0.55 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 0.52 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 2.32 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.08 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.91 per cent), Trent Ltd.(down 1.72 per cent) and Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.63 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
