share market: Share market update: Most active stocks in today’s market in terms of volume



NEW DELHI: RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 57.56 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 57.13 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 49.11 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 46.03 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 25.94 crore), RattanIndia Infra(numbers of share traded: 17.39 crore), Tata Teleservices(numbers of share traded: 14.12 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 9.99 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 8.76 crore) and Shriram EPC(numbers of share traded: 7.32 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday’s market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 37.16 points up at 25141.4, while BSE Sensex ended up 123.42 points at 82515.14.

On the other hand, Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.05 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.87 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.23 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.19 per cent) and Bharat Electronics Ltd.(down 1.14 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
