Poco F7 India Launch Teased; to Be Available for Purchase Via Flipkart

Poco F7 is expected to be unveiled in India soon alongside an Ultra variant. The company has begun teasing the launch of the Poco F series handsets in the country. The Indian variant of the base Poco F7 is expected to feature a larger battery than its global counterpart. Both variants could launch on the same day. Notably, the Pro and Ultra models of the Poco F7 lineup were unveiled in some regions in March. The Poco F7 Ultra has also been previously teased for an India launch.

Poco F7 India Launch Teased

An X post from Poco India suggests that new smartphones from the brand will arrive in India soon. An older post from the company suggests that the upcoming models will be additions to the Poco F series, possibly the Poco F7 and Poco F7 Ultra.

A live Flipkart microsite highlights features from past Poco F series smartphones. Although it doesn’t reveal any details about the upcoming handsets or their names, it confirms that the new phones will be available on the e-commerce platform.

Previously, Poco India Chief Himanshu Tandon had teased the launch of the Poco F7 Ultra in India. The Indian version could come with similar features as the global variant, which gets a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a 50-megapixel triple rear camera unit, and a 5,300mAh battery.

Meanwhile, an earlier report claimed that the Indian variant of the Poco F7 may get a 7,550mAh battery, while the global version could carry a smaller 6,550mAh cell. Both options are expected to come with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit, and a 6.83-inch 1.5K flat LTPS OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The base Poco F7 is tipped to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which was launched in China in April. Notably, the Poco F7 Pro, which was unveiled alongside the Ultra variant in select global markets, is currently not expected to see an India launch.
