Indices: Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.66% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:07AM(IST)on Tuesday in a weak market.

Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 1.68 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(up 1.18 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 0.89 per cent), DLF Ltd.(up 0.71 per cent) and Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 0.56 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Anant Raj Ltd.(down 0.88 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.66 per cent at 1027.0 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 74.5 points at 24872.0, while the BSE Sensex was down 234.79 points at 81561.36.


Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 18 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red. Shares of Vishal Mega Mart, Vodafone Idea, Sagility India, RattanIndia Power and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Federal Mogul, Subros, Steel Strips, Niraj Ispat Ind. and AXISCADES Engg Tech hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Navkar Builders, Sadhana Nitro, Shree Ram Proteins, Bluspring Enterprises Ltd. and Gensol Engg hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
