The ongoing Israel-Iran conflict continues to have ripple effects across the global markets, and India’s stock market is no exception. Friday the 13th sent the Sensex lower by 1,338 points to 80,354.59, while the Nifty 50 index fell by 415.20 points to 24,473 in early trade.

This was after tensions between Israel and Iran unfolded as the former launched widescale strikes against the latter. Only 5 Nifty50 stocks advanced today. Meanwhile, there were some stocks that defied the broader market sentiment today.
