Indian benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty50, ended lower on Friday, following significant losses in Asian markets after Israel’s military strikes on Iran heightened geopolitical tensions in the oil-rich Middle East.The BSE Sensex dropped 573 points, or 0.70%, to end at 81,118, while the NSE Nifty fell 169 points, or 0.68%, to close at 24,718.
