Indian benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty50, ended lower on Friday, following significant losses in Asian markets after Israel’s military strikes on Iran heightened geopolitical tensions in the oil-rich Middle East.The BSE Sensex dropped 573 points, or 0.70%, to end at 81,118, while the NSE Nifty fell 169 points, or 0.68%, to close at 24,718. Earlier in the day, the Sensex had plunged as much as 1,337 points to 80,354, and the Nifty hit an intraday low of 24,473.Here are the stocks that were in the limelight on Friday:
