Ahead of Market: 10 things that will decide stock market action on Thursday

Extending its previous day’s rally, the 30-share Sensex jumped 700 points or 0.85% to settle at 82,755. During the day, it surged 760 points or 0.92% to 82,815.

Here’s how analysts read the market pulse:

“Overall, we expect the Indian market to remain firm on the back of reduced global geo-political concerns and positive domestic cues,” said Siddhartha Khemka, Head – Research, Wealth Management, Motilal Oswal.

European shares turned lower not far from multi-week lows on Wednesday, as investors assessed whether a ceasefire between Israel and Iran would hold even as immediate worries about an energy shock receded.
