Extending its previous day’s rally, the 30-share Sensex jumped 700 points or 0.85% to settle at 82,755. During the day, it surged 760 points or 0.92% to 82,815.

US markets
Wall Street stocks opened mixed Wednesday, with traders digesting the recent rally on the Iran-Israel ceasefire as the S&P 500 moved within striking distance of another record.
European Markets
European shares turned lower not far from multi-week lows on Wednesday, as investors assessed whether a ceasefire between Israel and Iran would hold even as immediate worries about an energy shock receded.
Tech View
The overall sentiment remains positive, with a possibility of a rise towards 25,350. Immediate support is placed at 25,000; a break below this level could lead to a drift towards 24,850. On the other hand, if the index holds above 25,000, strength may persist, and the sentiment could favour long traders.”
Most active stocks in terms of turnover
MCX India (Rs 2,400 crore), HDFC Bank (Rs 1,820 crore), Waaree Energies (Rs 1,403 crore), GRSE (Rs 1,367 crore), Infosys (Rs 1,367 crore), BEL (Rs 1,192 crore) and RIL (Rs 1,104 crore) were among the most active stocks on BSE in value terms. Higher activity in a counter in value terms can help identify the counters with highest trading turnovers in the day.

Vodafone Idea (Traded shares: 10.7 crore), Network18 (Traded shares: 14.5 crore), YES Bank (Traded shares: 10.24 crore), JP Power (Traded shares: 9.41 crore), Indiabulls Housing (Traded shares: 7.45 crore), Suzlon (Traded shares: 5.15 crore) and Vishal Mega Mart (Traded shares: 4.97 crore) were among the most actively traded stocks in volume terms on NSE.

Shares of EID Parry, MCX India, Narayana Hrudayalaya, Home First Finance, Hyundai Motors, Authum Investment among the stocks that witnessed strong buying interest from market participants.
52 Week high
About 109 stocks hit their 52 week highs today while 43 stocks slipped to their 52-week lows.
Sentiment meter bullish
The market sentiments were bullish. Out of the 4,162 stocks that traded on the BSE on Thursday, 2,779 stocks witnessed advances, 1,262 saw declines, while 121 stocks remained unchanged.
