NEW DELHI: ICICI Bank(Rs. 3284.31 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2837.90 crore), Himadri Speciality(Rs. 2779.69 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 2125.61 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 2044.06 crore), Jio Financial Services(Rs. 1960.07 crore), Dixon Tech(Rs. 1924.06 crore), NTPC(Rs. 1721.06 crore), BEL(Rs. 1714.58 crore) and RIL(Rs. 1680.89 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 88.8 points up at 25637.8, while BSE Sensex rose 303.03 points to 84058.9.
In the Nifty index, Jio Financial Services Ltd.(up 3.51 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 3.01 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 2.92 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 2.59 per cent) and Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.33 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.85 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.56 per cent), Trent Ltd.(down 1.44 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.30 per cent) and Eternal Ltd.(down 1.26 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
