NEW DELHI: Reliance Power(Rs. 3374.34 crore), BSE(Rs. 3096.54 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1714.36 crore), Bharti Airtel(Rs. 1654.62 crore), Wockhardt(Rs. 1577.28 crore), United Spirits(Rs. 1472.99 crore), Indian Energy Exchg(Rs. 1390.21 crore), CDSL(Rs. 1339.78 crore), RIL(Rs. 1193.39 crore) and RattanIndia Infra(Rs. 1133.58 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 37.16 points up at 25141.4, while BSE Sensex rose 123.42 points to 82515.14.
In the Nifty index, HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 3.23 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 2.20 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.66 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 1.59 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.08 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.05 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.87 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.23 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.19 per cent) and Bharat Electronics Ltd.(down 1.14 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
