NEW DELHI: Cochin Shipyard(Rs. 527.32 crore), Azad Engineering(Rs. 269.33 crore), GRSE(Rs. 248.09 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 188.95 crore), RIL(Rs. 185.69 crore), Reliance Power(Rs. 145.14 crore), NALCO(Rs. 131.16 crore), HFCL(Rs. 111.62 crore), Ramkrishna Forg(Rs. 105.44 crore) and Suzlon Energy(Rs. 94.67 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday’s session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 252.15 points up at 25003.05, while BSE Sensex rose 746.95 points to 82188.99.

In the Nifty index, Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 5.65 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 4.90 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 3.74 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 3.08 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 2.78 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 0.86 per cent), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(down 0.72 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.46 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 0.31 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 0.24 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
