Stocks Surged: Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Monday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Fairchem Organics(14.46%), Diffusion Engineers(14.01%), Pennar Ind(13.95%), Global Offshore(13.39%), Joindre Capital(12.45%), Anupam Finserv(12.13%), GE Power India (12.10%), Tokyo Plast Int(11.99%), Bhandari Hosiery(11.17%) and Lumax Auto Tech(11.16%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 77.26 points down at 81373.75, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 34.11 points down at 24716.6.

In the Nifty 50 index, 20 stocks ended in the green, while 30 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as IFB Agro, AstraZeneca, Pennar Ind, Anupam Finserv and Lumax Auto Tech hit their fresh 52-week high, while Srestha Finvest, Alfavision Over, Techindia Nirman, Siel Financial and Chembond Chem touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
