NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Oriental Carbon(up 19.99%), Gayatri Sugars(up 19.98%), VCU Data Mgmt(up 17.30%), TGB Banquets(up 16.79%) and KLRF Ltd(up 15.00%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 27.55 points up at 82472.76, while the 50-share index, NSE was 33.3 points up at 25136.5.
In the Nifty50 index, 32 stocks traded in the green, while 18 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Ajcon Global, Reliable Ventures India, Creative Eye, Hybrid Financial Services and Reliance Power hit their fresh 52-week high, while Pradhin Ltd., Archana Software, Suvidha Infra, Krishna Vent and Yarn Syndicate(PP)touched their new 52-week low during the session.
