The NSE Nifty50 index ended 319.16 points up at 25112.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 1046.3 points at 82408.17.

On the other hand, Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.48%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.05%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 0.12%) and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.07%) closed in the red.
