JSW Paints to acquire promoter stake in Akzo Nobel India in Rs 9,400 crore deal

Akzo Nobel India promoter entities have signed a share purchase agreement with JSW Paints to sell its entire 74.76% stake in a Rs 9,400 crore deal after months of negotiations. The deal is priced at Rs 2,762.05 per share, a 16% discount to Thursday’s closing price.
