NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 5036.56 crore), RIL(Rs. 2181.30 crore), Brainbees Solutions Ltd.(Rs. 2146.94 crore), SBI(Rs. 1964.18 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1956.61 crore), One Mobikwik Systems(Rs. 1952.06 crore), Bharti Airtel(Rs. 1882.76 crore), Shriram Finance(Rs. 1322.62 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 1245.26 crore) and Eternal(Rs. 1240.52 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 304.25 points up at 25549.0, while BSE Sensex rose 1000.36 points to 83755.87.
In the Nifty index, Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 4.17 per cent), Jio Financial Services Ltd.(up 3.04 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.67 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 2.66 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 2.60 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.50 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.87 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 0.54 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 0.41 per cent) and State Bank of India(down 0.38 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
