NEW DELHI: BSE(Rs. 2679.36 crore), PayTM(Rs. 2203.84 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1690.24 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1590.10 crore), Reliance Power(Rs. 1534.21 crore), TCS(Rs. 1399.58 crore), CDSL(Rs. 1365.12 crore), Bharti Airtel(Rs. 1360.34 crore), Tanla Platforms(Rs. 1299.66 crore) and RIL(Rs. 1275.05 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 253.21 points down at 24888.2, while BSE Sensex fell 823.16 points to 81691.98.
In the Nifty index, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 1.00 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.86 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 0.79 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 0.48 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.43 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Motors Ltd.(down 2.86 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.63 per cent), Trent Ltd.(down 2.58 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 2.52 per cent) and Coal India Ltd.(down 2.34 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
