NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 1977.81 crore), BSE(Rs. 1744.82 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1685.69 crore), L&T(Rs. 1372.64 crore), Muthoot Finance(Rs. 1260.38 crore), RIL(Rs. 1209.47 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1193.32 crore), Mastek Ltd(Rs. 1121.73 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 1027.11 crore) and Ramkrishna Forg(Rs. 1023.42 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 136.7 points down at 22399.15, while BSE Sensex fell 379.93 points to 73847.15.
In the Nifty index, Nestle India Ltd.(up 3.06 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 2.66 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.87 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 1.67 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.55 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Wipro Ltd.(down 4.29 per cent), State Bank of India(down 3.44 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 3.39 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 3.17 per cent) and Trent Ltd.(down 3.09 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
