NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Monday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Kimia Biosciences(12.33%), Tranway Technologies(12.31%), Alembic Pharma(10.57%), Concord Drugs(10.24%) and Solara Active Pharma(PP)(10.12%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 307.54 points down at 83751.36, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 85.5 points to 25552.3.
In the Nifty 50 index, 17 stocks traded in the green, while 33 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Adinath Text, Kimia Biosciences, Indef Manufacturing, RLF Ltd and Federal Mogul hit their fresh 52-week high, while Digitide Solutions Ltd., Pankaj Piyush, Omega Inter.Tech, Kansal Fibres and Sadhana Nitro touched their new 52-week low in trade.
