Indices: Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 1.43% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 11:04AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.

Raymond Ltd.(up 0.6 per cent) and Anant Raj Ltd.(up 0.08 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 2.08 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 1.93 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.52 per cent), DLF Ltd.(down 1.47 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 1.44 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was down 1.43 per cent at 1005.1 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 92.96 points at 25337.7, while the BSE Sensex was up 342.94 points at 83098.45.


Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 36 were trading in the green, while 14 were in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, Alok Industries, RattanIndia Power, Suzlon Energy and JP Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Ishan Dyes Chem, Indosolar Ltd, Sumeet Ind, Prabha Energy and Nuvama Wealth Mgmt hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Sadhana Nitro, Globale Tessile, Gensol Engg, Twentyfirst Cent and Osia Hyper Retail hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
