Anant Raj Ltd.(up 2.35 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 1.32 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.16 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 0.73 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 0.6 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 0.4 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 0.42 per cent at 1035.2 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 124.55 points at 25127.6, while the BSE Sensex was up 381.57 points at 82570.56.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 34 were trading in the green, while 16 were in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, Reliance Power, Suzlon Energy, YES Bank and Capri Global were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Hybrid Financial Services, Indef Manufacturing, Sudarshan Chemical, Shankara Bldg Prod and MCX India hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Varanium Cloud, Techindia Nirman, Lakshmi Precis, SKIL Infrastructure and Cambridge Tech hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
