NEW DELHI: YES Bank(Rs. 3056.61 crore), Aptus Value Housing(Rs. 2796.99 crore), BSE(Rs. 2374.43 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2357.13 crore), Eternal(Rs. 2211.17 crore), CDSL(Rs. 2125.73 crore), Cochin Shipyard(Rs. 2021.06 crore), FACT(Rs. 1718.41 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1605.89 crore) and RIL(Rs. 1589.26 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 174.1 points down at 24542.5, while BSE Sensex fell 636.24 points to 80737.51.
In the Nifty index, Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.13 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 0.89 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.69 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 0.59 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(up 0.21 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.44 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.91 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.83 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.72 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.64 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
