NEW DELHI: Shares of TECIL Chemicals, Cura Tech, Keynote Financial, NACL Industries and GRM Overseas, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday’s trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 136.7 points down at 22399.15 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Themis Medicare, Hilton Metal, Smartlink Holdings, Carraro India L and TVS Supply Chain Sol, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 15 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 35 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Nestle India, HUL, Tata Consumer, Titan Company and Power Grid were among top gainers during the day, while Wipro, SBI, L&T, Tech Mahindra and Trent ended in the red.


The BSE Sensex closed 379.93 points down at 73847.15. Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and Apparels sectors, while selling was witnessed in Textiles, Construction, Packaging, Metals – Ferrous and Miscellaneous sectors during the day.
